BBC accused of Brexit bias by more than 70 MPs in open letter

Or put another way, over 570 Mp's don't sign an open letter to the BBC :-)

So the Trump undermining of the media (or rather the media he doesn't like) is speading over here. Sad.

    The Cultural Revolution gathers pace.
Re-education camps for those not blindly cheering on The Glorious Brexit next?
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I've complained about Dateline London which goes out every Saturday lunchtime, for it's continually inviting a panel of journalists that are almost always centrist / liberal, with the occasional non liberal contribution.

The show's remit is to explore the topics of the day, very often around Brexit or Trump, and the result is a myopic biased conversation which merely drives home the guests innate liberal sensibility, thus topics are far from forensically scrutinised.

I've complained but got a standard vague BBC reply which completely fails to explain why it is they just so happen to select guests from the same political tribe.

    I find this quite appalling.

But Conrad mate, honestly, the issue here is that you yourself are so far to the right...any guest they get on the show will look like a leftie liberal to you. Not really Dateline's fault you are so radicalized, is it?
This said, I'm equally appalled you only got a standard reply. I would have expected at least a personal letter from the Director General when the BBC deals with a man of your stature.

Writing about the letter in a blog for the Conservative Home website Mr Knight, also a former BBC journalist, said the organisation must be careful not to lose the trust of those who voted for Brexit “as well as those Remainers like myself who respect the will of the people”.
With supporters like this, May and Corbyn, no wonder Remain lost the argument :-)

Very brave of a politician to criticize the beeb - cue a series of FOI questions and investigations into spousal employment, expenses claims etc etc....
