Hi there
I've just been accepted for a mortgage with nationwide on a 5% deposit??
Also they have only asked for 3 months payslips?
Is this normal?
They have already done there credit checks as well!

Really I thought they all asked for months of bank statements etc all they have asked for is 3 months payslips?0

In my experience banks are relying more upon customer testimony rather than evidence when it comes to particular expenditure, and only asking for bank statements in particular scenarios, so it doesn't seem out with the norm to me.0

How long did your application take from DIP to full application being accepted? They've done the credit checks on my already and I've provided my broker with documents at her request before the full application was submitted.. P60, 3 months payslips, ID and 3 months bank statements.. so I don't know if they've asked for anything from me. They must do the credit check at DIP stage as mines was at the underwriters then. I think every lender process is different. So stressful though!0
