Is the Xbox game cd just for installation purposes?

Does the cd need to be inserted in order to play the game?

Yes the disc is needed, when its first inserted the game will install so it runs better.

The disk CD is needed. On XBox in my opinion and the flash download is, or not?

only option is to buy via digital downloads where possible.

Oh yeah. To download the game you need an installation disk. But what exactly is the program I need for sure I can not say.

Its to ensure you dont install the game, then sell the game on.

No,to install the game and run it you need a disc.
Downloads come with no disc and play from the hard drive.
