Promissory Note - Free Templates

I wonder if anyone has found a totally free template for a Promissory Loan - one that does not off you a free trial for 30 days and then £29 a month unless you cancel and one that does not put dodgy links into your computer?

What? What's a Promissory Note? Haven't heard of it, certainly wouldn't pay £29 a month for it, what's it use?

Could be wrong on this but it looks like its similar to a letter a borrower would give to the lender they promise to pay x amount by such a date.

Wouldn't have thought you'd need much of a template.

"I, John Smith, promise to pay Mary Jones the sum of £10,000 on a date no later than 1st October 2021".

Get it signed and witnessed. Bob's your uncle.
