I'm sooooooooooo fed up!

Every few weeks I get two CC application forms from Capital One. Both addressed to me (using different "versions" of my first name). I now have a huge collection of those little green pens they used to include in their postings.
Few weeks ago I thought I've had enough and returned them with: "I'm not interested in your credit cards. Stop sending me your junk through the post" written accross the application forms.
For a few weeks I thought it worked, but yesterday I got a brand new set of application forms courtesy of, yes you guessed right, Capital One.
I also seem to get those phonecalls from 3 and T-mobile, about new offers. I got two of them today. The first one hung up on me, when I said I'm not interested and the second one, after we established I'm not interested, asked me to give him the telephone numbers of friends and family! Could not believe my ears!!!
Can't believe how bad things were going to be if I was not registered with both telephone and postal preference services.

I knocked up some labels with "Deceased - Return to Sender" without opening them.
Then tend to take you off their mailing lists (until they get the next one of course!)
It stops it for a while - and confused the hell out of a few of them too!
With phone calls, just politely say no thank you as soon as they start gabbering on and hang up.
Its your phone. Dont get worked up - it will "show" in your voice.0 -
I found out earlier that if you ring 0800 9525351 and select option 4, Capital One will remove you from their mailing list. They claim it takes 3-4 months to be removed.
I gave it a try, but if I get another application form from them I'll ring their applications department (same number) and give them a piece of my mind!
As for the 3 and T-mobile phonecalls, I just thought that instead of wasting my time trying to explain to them that I'm not interested I will just play to them one of those annoying crazy frog tunes until they hang up!0
