They are on your side there for you any questions they ask are for your benefit its a short moment in your life that could change it for the good be strong!
  • Hi there

I have a DMP with Payplan and they needed to know details of all my creditors - who they were and exactly how much was owed to them. They required all account numbers. They also went through day to day living expenses and the remainder of our income is the amount we now pay each month. The lady I spoke to was very helpful, and not judgemental at all.
    Good luck!
Proud to be dealing with my debts
  • Hi there,

I too am in the situation and have a similar thread going at minute about payplan as I have my tel interview tonight at 8pm! Very nervous but from all the helpful advice so far is really helping to calm a little. Hopefully after the phone call things will be a lot clearer to me.

    Hey sweetie!

It's natural to be nervous, but just keep reminding yourslef that these guys are actually on YOUR side!

They'll want to know all the details of your financial situation so it's best to gather all your paperwork together befopre they call.

I made myself a list of creditors, how much we owed them, at what interest rate, whether we were in arrears or not etc. (but forgot to include my overdraft and didn't actually know what interest we were being charged on it anyway! :o :embarasse )

It can also be helpful to work yourself out a rough budget in advance - It just gets you thinking about what you need money for (and how much)

We didn't have a clue how much money we spent on food each month, let alone how much we needed to allow for stuff like school trips, dentist, and vet.

But they help you with everything, so just make sure you've got a :coffee: to hand when they call cos it can be quite a lengthy chat.

Definitely et us know how you get on.

    Love Jacks xxx :D

  • same advice from here as well. CCCS are very supportive, and they helped us to make sure that things weren't missed out of our budget.
they really are there to help, and I always come off the phone feeling positive. ( Been on DMP since Jan 07 - debts of 35K)
no-ones there to judge- just to advise and support.
    good luck
