Thanks sammiboo for starting 'the thread' :hello: :hello:
I have no plans to spend anything today - dropped my wife off at the airport, this morning - she's going to spend a few days with her parents in Italy (our second home).
In true 'Italian MSE' style, she has left the fridge and freezer bulging with sauces, for pasta, chillis, cottage pies, quiches - you name it, it's there. :T
My youngest daughter is coming down for the weekend - no doubt, bringing her appetite with her  but there's no way we're going to go hungry.
Might need to stock up on some wine, tomorrow, though. :think:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Only excuse is that I don't feel great today, nasty backache and still recovering from very long tiring wednesday:eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Cycled to and from work today so a big fat zero spent on travel. Got baked beans and a jacket potato in the staff canteen plus a diet coke, so under £1.30 in total spent today.
Oh, just remembered having to post an Amazon sale today, but it was an old book which has never been opened, got £5 for it plus £2 postage, but it ended up just costing 70p to post, so HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
