Smart Parking Appeal Rejected - What Next?

Hi,
At the start of Feburary I recieved a Parking Charge Notice from Smart Parking with regards to parking in a car park in Clarkston, Scotland. It claims that no payment was made against the vehicle! Fortunately I still had the receipt for parking. the 'problem' seems to be that when typed in to the keypad 0 was put in instead of O (the rest of the registration number was exact!
An appeal was launched but Smart Parking has decided to reject the appeal on grounds that they could not match any reciept to the vehicle. Despite the 'error' it shuold, imo, be quite clear that the reciept (that was included with the appeal) matches the vehicle, parking was clearly paid in good faith!
What options are open to me now?
any help/thoughts much appreciated.
Regards

Not much - Just ignore them and their shonky debt collectors forthwith.
You shouldn't have wasted time contacting them in the first place - See the Scotland-specific advice in the Newbies Sticky for why.0 -
And keep the ticket and all the paperwork for the next 5 years , just in case0

Unfortunately, you appealed and told them who was driving...even though you are in Scotland. I thought it was fairly well known in Scotland to ignore these private 'tickets'. The advice has never changed, north of the border. Should have ignored it!
Fortunately, it's only Smart Parking, whose repertoire doesn't include suing people.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the responses.
@pogofish alas I submitted my appeal before I thought to come to this site seeking assistance.
@Coupon-mad I will have to double check but I'm sure when I did appeal I was quite non-descript about who was driving tbh, still, yep looks like I should have ignored it.
When I read on the Smart Parking website about appeals that, and I quote: "It goes without saying that each appeal is individually assessed by a trained appeals assessor, who will review not only the site rules, but will apply a common sense approach.", in my naivety I presumed that they would indeed apply a common sense approach. That naivety has well been shattered. lol Quite clearly they do no such thing at all...
