Adverse Credit

Hi All, I am new to this.
Is there any brokers out there that will specialise in finding me a mortgage with adverse credit.
Background info - 55LTV
Applied to Halifax and Natiowide direct to be turned down.
Had 3 missed payments on current mortgage in Jul, Aug, Sept 2015 - as soon as I realised paid all upto date October 2015 but these are marked on my credit file. Reason for this was I had a baby in July 2015 and my partner left us both.
Experian score is 997 and excellent -
One default from 2011 of 550 from a old current account that is settled and will fall off my file end of the year.
Equifax Score 399 at fair

If anyone has had a similar situation can you let me know if any high street bank accepted you.
If any brokers feel they can help please contact me as I am in a position that I need to arrange a mortgage within 2 weeks or I will lose my dream house!

Thank you

There is only maybe one high street lender I can think of who may accept you but it is 50/50. I think you may need to accept that if you do want a Mortgage, you may have to pay slightly higher rates (around 3.5-4.5%) for 2 years before getting back on the high street.

But it is definitely one for a broker I think.

Yup, contact local brokers. If you had spoken to the lender to ask for a payment holiday it may of worked out better for you.

Best of luck with your dream.

Speak to a broker that is a specialist on adverse credit. From what I know missed mortgage payments are frowned upon.
