Parents and son live in a house, no mortgage on the house. Same mailing address for everyone.
Parents own the old house and are buying and moving to another house and has a mortgage offer from Nationwide. Old house is not being sold.
Son will be staying at the old house after parents moves out.

If the son wants to take out a loan to furnish up/improve the old house, possibly also from Nationwide, before parents have completed on their house purchase, will this affect the current mortgage offer?

Parents and son are not connected on credit reports in any way besides being at the same address. Mortgage offer is in parents' names only and son's loan will be taken out in son's name only.
