but as has already been pointed out

2.1 The competition winner will be the person with the maximum number of valid referrals when the competition closes.
2.2 A valid referral is defined as a person who enters the competition with a valid email address.

So there is no point in entering as the chances of getting more referrals in a day and a half than people who entered six weeks ago is extremely remote.
