Bank Account

I've just received my letter stating that the BR has been accepted. In it, it says that my account will be frozen, if that is so, what happens to my direct debits for rent, utilities etc?

It's best to move these across to a new "basic" bank account. Mine is with Nationwide. It will be a few days/couple of weeks before your bank is contacted to freeze the account so I would open the new account ASAP and transfer everything across.

Also remember to withdraw enough money to keep you going for a couple of weeks, usually £200-300 but everyone's circumstances are different.
