Self Employed ?

My daughter works part time 6 hrs a week at a leisure centre. She gets paid by submitting a monthly invoice so is not directly employed. This is her only job. Should she register to be self employed ?

Really all depends on how much she invoices for the 6 hours.
I presume you realise she should almost certainly be employed or does your daughter's business expect to expand and involve work at a number of different leisure centres??0 -
Hello, my daughter was self employed running her own fitness classes at various community centres. However when she taught in a Leisure Centre for 5 hours in total, she was employed by them.
After all she couldn't chose her own hours as they arranged the time table, nor could she send someone else in her place.0
