Would you not consider trading it in?

That would be the last thing to do with it.

Spoil the chance of negotiating a 'real' discount on the car your buying

If it helps anyone else I recently got £90 from t-met for my old 1999 car. They collected it, and seem to collect from anywhere. I had taken the Catalytic converter off and got £80 from Clearway for it (I took it to them, along with some scrap copper which was taking up space).

How recently and what was the car?

Hi, this is a great idea that you are about to scrap the car. As it can be beneficial to you. Scrap My Car Southampton service allows you to get the best price for your car. I have recently used the services of the New Forest Metal Recycling. It is the best company that provides the scrap service. They collect the car from your home on their own and provide the best price.
