I was just starting to clean up my credit file recently - I was quite shocked to see that, over 3 years after discharge, my file still showed my bankruptcy as being undischarged! Meh. No wonder it's been difficult getting credit the last 3 years!

I was going to get a mobile contract with a different mobile operator (T-Mobile were the only ones doing a tariff at the time that would accept me, but reception is rubbish). However I doubt I'll still be accepted for one with credit file as it is, so it acts as a nice motivation to sort things out!

Quite appalling how these credit files can be so out of date though - surely they can automate updates like discharges etc, onto people's files?
