I just received this email tonight from BUPA. It may be of use to somebody. I am unsure what date this offer ends, hence the post in Grabbit.

Terms and conditions


Annual off-peak gym membership

1. The promotion is open only to UK residents aged 18 or over. The maximum age limit for eligibility is 100. Offer not available in ROI.
2. New BUPA members can upgrade their complimentary off peak membership to a peak membership by paying £15 per month (London boroughs) or £10 per months (provinces).
3. Peak or off peak gym memberships will be offered at BUPA's discretion, and its decision is final.
4. Off peak memberships are not available in the following Fitness First gyms: America Square , London City; Berkeley Square , London West End; Bloomsbury , London City; Chancery Lane, London City; Covent Garden , London West End; Embankment, London West End; Fetter Lane, London City; Gracechurch St , London City; Grt Marlborough St , London West End; Hammersmith, London West End; High Hoborn, London City; Kingly St, London West End; Liverpool St , London City; London Bridge , London City; Palace St, London West End; Paternoster Sq, London City; Queen Victoria St, London City; Shepherds Bush, London West End; South Kensington , London West End; Victoria , London West End. Upgrades to peak memberships are available at these gyms.
5. Fitness First gyms not taking part in this promotion are: Bolton, 135-139 Bradshawgate; Bradford, St Georges Buildings; Brighton, 78-81 Queens Road; Chalk Farm, 81-84 Chalk Farm Road; Chatham, 57 Pentagon Centre; Coventry, 50 Bishops Street; Crouch End, The Exchange; Glasgow, 250 Sauchiehall Street; Leciester, 64-66 Humberstone Gate; Luton, 6-8 Park Street; Northampton, 90 Abington Street; Southampton, 12-16 East Bargate.
6. A 12 months BUPA membership must be taken out to qualify for the 12 months gym membership.
7. One gym membership per BUPA member / household. Family members on the BUPA membership can also apply for a discounted Fitness First gym membership. Proof of BUPA membership will be required on application.
8. No cash alternative is available.
9. To claim your gym membership, you will receive a redemption letter that will be issued by BUPA once you have become a BUPA member. This letter (original copy only) should be taken to Fitness First gym you chose to join when registering. Full redemption details will be contained in the letter.
10. To be eligible for the gym membership, you must take your BUPA registration documentation, plus the redemption letter into the gym on your first visit.
11. Your redemption letter will arrive within 21 working days of you becoming a BUPA member.
12. You have 3 months from the date you joined BUPA to redeem your Fitness First gym membership. If 3 months lapses and you do not redeem your gym membership, your application becomes invalid.
13. After the first 12 months of gym membership, your Fitness First renewal rate will be at a reduced rate providing you are still a BUPA member and membership can be proven. No admin fee applies.
14. BUPA takes no responsibility for injuries or accidents suffered through activities taken up by BUPA members at Fitness First gyms.
15. Once you have committed to eligible BUPA membership, BUPA's terms and conditions apply which will be provided to you on joining.
16. Fitness First cannot be held responsible for any financial commitments you may enter into as a result of taking out eligible BUPA membership health cover.
17. Please note with all BUPA products cover is subject to acceptance and certain exclusions and conditions apply. BUPA reserve the right to refuse any application. The Promoter is in no way responsible for BUPA's right to refuse any application or apply conditions to cover.
18. By entering this promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data for the administration of this promotion and any other purpose to which the entrant has consented. As part of this offer BUPA will be disclosing your details to Fitness First in order to confirm that you are eligible for this gym membership. Fitness First will report back to BUPA on take-up of these offers.
19. Free gym memberships are not available to existing BUPA members. Free gym memberships are not available to new members joining via a company or corporate scheme.
