Argos 1p wrapping paper

Argos have a selection of wrapping paper at just 1p

You can't buy online as all the links take you to error pages, but there is an easy way to get the item numbers to buy in store.

Right click on the product you like then copy the link and paste it somewhere e.g. "http://www.argos.co.uk/product/1528691" make a note of the 7 diget number at the end and use the stock checker in store before filling in a paper ticket so you know how many they have

Of the ones I checked that were in stock they had between 13 and 38 so I got 10 foil xmas leaving 3 (for others) and got 2 each of 5 other designs all for 20p

Some are by the tills but not all, I only just managed to find 2 each for 3 of the 6 designs I picked in the bins and there were NO xmas foil out at all so had to wait for that one to come from the stock room

Managed to get 1 roll at my local. Also they have 4 different packs of Christmas cards at 29p on the same page that comes back when you search for wrapping paper.

Managed to get three rolls of paper .......no longer in wrapping so a bit battered but for 3p I don't care.


The wrapping paper was by the till so not much left as the cashier said lots were bought yesterday

Unluckily, didn't find any of these in my local shop & not enough time to try and order any.

Bought seven rolls. None of the Christmas papers available, but several of the birthday ones were showing 50+ rolls available. Not on show, have to order and collect.

I went in to collect an item and had a look for the paper, didn't see any. I did see 2 members of staff each leaving with a bag which must have contained about 40 rolls. I don't have a problem with staff getting bargains but thought that excessive - however, I don't know how many were on sale at the start of the day, there could have been hundreds of packs - and the staff may have been buying for others too.

Anyway, wrapping paper showing as either 99p or £2.99 this morning - cards are still 29p though.

Bit disappointed to go to my local store today, to find all this wrapping paper is back up to 99p per roll!!! 0_0 So much for clearance, must have been a glitch!!!!
