Artwork comes in all shapes, sizes and forms, and the wire work of Richard Gibson, a native of the Yorkshire Wolds, is among some of the most captivating. His earliest efforts in sculpture were foxes made from discarded chocolate foil, which he swapped for more chocolate with school friends. Now he’s an artist, working on a much grander scale, as Wold Wire Sculptures. Richard captures scenes of nature in wire, accurately representing their life and movement in a unique medium. We’ve got a fantastic prize to offer one reader: a resplendent landing barn owl, worth £170.
