Are Field agents from another planet or what ?????

I had an unpaid water bill which I duly paid back over 3 months all done and dusted (so I thought)

Was sitting home with my parnter all curled up on the sofa watching telly when (knocking on the door) I answered it to a man who came to discuss the non payment of a water bill?????

I know my rights told him he wasnt allowed to set foor in the house closed the door and produced a letter from south east water showing that the bill had been paid in full handed it over as proof and he stood there looking totally gormless with a totally stunned expression on his face as if I had ruined his day then told me that this wasnt proof and the amount was still outstanding I told him sorry this was enough and would the idiot budge NOPE just stood there like a prze T***

I gave him 3 mins to get off my doorstep before I called the police and the idiot still stood there with the same gormless expression even with threats of police or a swife kick in the groin with a size 6 new rock boot in the end I just slammed the door shut and went back downstairs

I complained to the waterboard and did infact receive a letter of appology from them and that the agent should never had come out in the first place

anyone else had similar or laughable stories about Field agents

Haven't had any dealings with them but glad you eventually got it sorted!

Although I know someone posted the other day about getting a final demand for unpaid council tax of.......£0.00!! And I think they were threatened with bailiff action too! :rotfl:
