Loan Searching Help, Poor Credit Score
Right it's as simple as this,
I'm a student who has almost finished his degree, at the minute I have a pile of debts over the course of degree that have built up and in all honesty are crushing me, for someone my age this amount of debt is crazy I have no idea how it all built up.
I have taken out credit cards, payday loans you name it.
My credit score is poor because of a miscommunication between myself and one of the card companies about minimum payment amounts so it has flagged as missed payment.
Ideally I am looking for a consolidation loan for my debts because in 4 months time i'll be in a full time job (all but guaranteed got one lined up) and be able to be the loan back even quicker.
Problem is no companies look at personal situations they see the credit score and bolt, I have no access to a guarantor so it is either an unsecured loan or nothing. Any ideas???

They're not seeing your credit score. They're seeing your poor credit history and no job.
You won't get a consolidation loan. Go to the DFW boards for advice on cutting costs and clearing the debts.0 -
As above, your credit score doesn't mean anything.
Your history is what the lenders see, so what are the numbers and interest rates?
Do you have anything you can sell to clear some of the highest interest rate debt?0 -
No reputable lender is even going to consider lending money to someone with no job."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0

Your next sentence tells you how it all built up. I have taken out credit cards, payday loans you name it.

You do not want (or rather the person that may be your unfortunate guarantor does not want) a guarantor loan. The rates are extortionate.
Lenders do not see your score and run. The don't see your score at all. The only see the data on your report.
As already mentioned, you will not be able to secure a loan until you have been working. I think that you will have to hang in there until you start work. Is there nay chance of brining your start date forward?0 -
Can you not get a part time job for the mean time ?
I cant see a lender will to assist you ?0 -

Could you give more information about the "miscommunication".
I left school at 16 and didn't have the benefit of a degree level education but I have never had any problem finding information such as "minimum payment" or "payment required by date" on a CC statement.0 -
Sorry I totally forgot tof add that I work part time getting a minimum of £850 a month0

I dont see you getting a loan, your going to have to increase your earnings or reduce what you spend. Eat really cheap so beans on toast, pasta, ylur a student I thought students lived cheaply.0
