Student Loan Repayment

Pixie5740, thank you for an honest assessment of the situation. It seems harsh to me but I guess I will just have to accept the charges then.
I don't understand why I can't just sign a declaration to say that I am currently not working. Hardly like I am trying to dodge the student loan! Once I get a new job it will start being paid again. Whole thing seems like a waste of time to me, then again, there isn't much I understand about modern day society. There is no trust left in the world. I cannot prove how much my partner supports me, other than telling them the truth, and therefore I shall be charged £150.00 a month penalty.
It's a good job that I don't care.0 -

There are too many liars and cheats out there Benjamin. People claiming that they have no income when in reality they do which is why SLC need the evidence.0 -
Well a manager rang me back and we went through everything and he told me that my partner just needs to sign the declaration, no need for the bank statements in this instance.
I think he knew I was being genuine. Just need to secure that job now! :money::money:0
