Terrible service for example yesterday without notice all existing mortgages in the pipeline were switched to new criteria and rates which means some people who almost had a mortgage had it snatched away at the last minute!
Beware if you are remortgaging and you have had adverse credit; Just prior to the offer being granted an underwriter will perform a strict test to establish you will be better off as a result of the remo. Many cases are rejected at this point. A happy clappy Sun reading Broker probably wont be aware of this.0 -
thanks for both replies
wish i had read this 2 days ago before we sent our cheque off. (arrangement fee £195)
we do have adverse credit (near prime) and we are remortgaging
we both thought we were doing the right thing, going to a whole of market broker from a very big company in our city.i would not of said our mortgage brokers were classed as "happy clappy sun reading type brokers" has anyone got anything good to say about D B mortgages as we are getting very worried now.
thanks all0 -
I agree with Conrad about the whole issue of not honouring the deals that they were processing, really shocking!0
