    I absolutely cannot agree with you OP: this was not all your fault. By my calculations, aside from the holiday, you have spent £45k in 7 months. That's £6500 (nearly) a month on top of your normal earnings. I know that you say that you have been lying to her about how much things cost, but there is a limit to that. She must know that you've been living beyond your means.

    You have to talk to her.
  • Hi there, I just wanted to say I have just switched to a better deal with my current mortgage provider as my 2yr deal was coming to an end. No credit checks involved just a straight forward switch of tariff.
