Anyone know the best way to store a wedding dress?
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

The proper way to do would be to get professionally cleaned, to remove all traces of food etc , then wrapped in acid free tissue paper, then kept somewhere it wont become damp etc.
Personally I stuck mine in a cardboard box in the back corner of a cupboard, it comes out every now and then (20 years later) for kids to try on or mess around with, then stuffed back the same way. Still has the original mud marks on the bottom - but I am happy to see it and remember the fab day we shared.0 -
What about one of those plastic tubs you can buy in pound shops. Big ones with lids? Would they maybe "sweat"I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0

If you want it to last then as before , get it cleaned and wrap in acid free paper
I have my flowers (silk) saved from my wedding. In just one of those pretty cardboard storage boxes, but wrapped in the tissue paper. One bit became unwrapped and the colour faded
That's 20 years on0
