£5000 urgent loan

Could anyone advise me the easiest way of getting £5k for a very short term?

I have money invested elsewhere but isn't available for 30days and need the funds urgently.

Whats the easiest way and quickest without having the hassle to take out a 12mth loan.

Ps, I can't use a credit card as cash is needed....

Thanks

You can get cash from a credit card.

And if you go about it the right way, not have to pay too much for it.

Don't they charge a fortune when cash is mentioned though?

If you can get a lower rate, yes.

    If not, no.
  • Can't seem to get a lower rate as I'm not a home owner

When you lift the cash from a cash machine - yes. But there are a number of Credit Card companies that allow you to perform a Money Transfer - i.e. they transfer the money directly into your current account (up to about 90% or your credit limit). You can get these with 0% interest however be aware that there is usually a fee to pay (around 2 or 3 percent usually).

So for £5k you would ideally need a minimum limit of £5,600 and the fee may be about £150.

AFAIK, if you take cash from a credit card interest is applied from day 1 - but if you are sure that you will be able to pay off the credit card bill in full then interest for just one month shouldn't be too frightening. Probably a lot less hassle than trying to get a short term loan from somewhere else.
