EXPIRED M&S sale time again

A new sale starts tomorrow at M&S. If you're a SPARKS member check your emails to a link that gives 50% off all items included in the sale. Last time I benefited from the 50% off for sparks members as the trousers I ordered never went as low as half price.

My email arrived on Sunday evening - the item I wanted was already out of stock (despite being shown as available on the page).

Some things never change!

Likewise - the usual M&S incompetence (or maybe downright dishonesty) story. Items showing as available all day, but impossible to buy because they're actually out of stock.

The words bait and switch spring to mind.

I put 4 items in my basket - when it came to pay only 3 were available. I also find it easier to search putting in my size (for clothing!). Less to go through.:)

Urgh, long delays on delivery to store.

Did anyone else notice that there were loads of items that were not in the sale-or even on the website in some cases, when the sale started for Sparks Card holders. But when the sale started for everyone, loads more things were added BUT didn't go down as far as 50% off.


Has this happened before? What's the point in giving people a head-start and then not including all the items?

I noticed a disclaimer on the first preview page saying that additional stock may come online and also price discount may not be 50% when the sale goes live to everyone!?

Not sure where they get these policies from.

I find M&S delivery extremely poor too :mad:
