Yes, although I haven't done it for ages - I buy cravendale now which doesn't go off quickly enough to need to freeze it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Apart from taking up loads of freezer space, looking weird in the frozen state and taking hours to defrost, it's very handy.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

If you are thinking of freezing a new bottle then be sure to empty a little bit out first. Milk expands when frozen! I often freeze the remains of a bottle if we are going to be away for a few days."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I have frozen milk for years. Just remember to take it out if the freezer well in advance and shake it well before use.0

Do you question everything she tells you? ;-)0 -
So - you trust people on here who you can't see and don't know more than your line manager?

Yes I do trust the views of fellow money savers on here, after all, thats what brings the moneysaving community together. In regards to your off the question comment regarding questioning everything "she tells you" I think it right we question everything, and just because a line manager who has power over me makes a suggestion, does not mean it is right, much more lean to contributors here.Trinidad - I have a number of needs. I used to freeze milk regularly but when they started making the bottles from thinner plastic I have found that the bottles now split unless you remove some of the milk before freezing.0

I do it regularly. Never had a bottle split or anything. Definitely shake before using and take it out to defrost in plenty of time. We usually get it from tesco or lidl in either 2 or 4 pints.0

It's also nice to freeze in an ice cube tray in summer to make an easy iced coffee.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
