I'm living on Income Support........Can anyone tell me please, what is the legal amount of money one needs to live on?
I'm trying to fill in a debt management plan for token repayments to my creditors.
Thankyou.

I am not sure, but if you have a look at the CCCS website, they will probably be able to give you their guidelines. I think the link is at the top of these boards.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. What you need to budget for is all the items of expenditure you need to live,
or a service you could loose.
so list it like this
Gas, electricity, water rates, tv licence, food, clothing, travel expenses (this may include the cost of running a car), telephone.
In my experience with someone living on I/S and depending on the number of creditors, you may only be able to offer £1 per month to each creditor.
What you don't want to do is miss out buying food to pay your creditorsI am a debt counsellor working in the voluntary sector - we don't charge our clients for the work we do!0 -

Hiya - the figures you are looking for are called 'trigger figures' and are used throughout the banking industry - here is a link with a table of current figures (they change quite often). I can't cut and paste it because the formatting goes all wonky, sorry!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
