Designed by Cobra, engineered by Snooper is the new tagline for the latest C6500 Ventura sat-nav. Snooper is well-known in the motorhome world, creating motorhome-friendly software that allow you to tailor your route to the size of motorhome you are driving as well as offering other touring features. The C6500 has a five inch LCD display and contains information on 24,000 campsites across 31 European countries, including ACSI, BordAtlas and Camperstop data. There are free lifetime map updates with new and improved street-level mapping, as well as full screen motorway junction displays and lane guidance software. Speed limits can also be displayed and you can opt for car limits or advisory speed restrictions for motorhomes.
You can save routes and you can also now select points of interest along the pre-programmed route, allowing you to divert if you see an interesting attraction advert or sign. The road names and numbers can be displayed in larger text, if desired. There’s a multitude of other useful features too. Priced at £199.99, the C6500 comes with a windscreen bracket, dash-mount disk, in-vehicle charger, USB cable and instructions (on a CD).
