budget/receipt tracker

Hi all,

I was watching "Live well for less" last night and seen on there that there are apps take photographs of your receipts and track your spending - grouping items together to let you know what your are spending on.

Does anyone use these apps or could anyone recommend one?

TIA

L

I use My Receipt Saver on my iPhone. It wasn't free though. I had an iTunes gift card with money left on it so I bought this app.

I haven't been using it very long so can't comment on how useful I think it will be.

Seems like a great idea, but the show gives no links and having watched back on iplayer and pausing am none the wiser! The show website gives no clues either.

I know, very annoying. DH and I really want to know what we do with our money but just haven't got the time or inclination to save all receipts and deal with them at the end of the month lol.

  • I use Wally - absolutely loving it! It allows you to input all of your regular payments/DDs etc, as well as income, to keep on top of things. It also allows you to scan receipts etc. - It's also 100% free
