Scottish Lift scheme

Trying to get the steps sorted in my head. Hopefully someone can help.

LIFT have agreed in principle to us being accepted to open market scheme awaiting updated home report on property we want.
The mortgage company have given me my decision in principle.
The agents for the seller have an offer dependent on finance being in place put in (won't do a new home report that LIFT want without offer in:mad:)

The closing date on the house is march 10th. When do I approach the bank for a concrete mortgage offer? I have my payslips and bank statements etc ready.
Or do I wait for LIFT to send the passport letter after new home reports in??
