hi Max,
I'm a civil servant & deal with jsa (jobseekers allowance ) & IB (incapacity benefit) claims. The info on jsa is correct also the advice on IB is. Claiming IB is whats known as a none means tested benefit so it does'nt matter what your other income is, but it is a taxble benefit so would need to be declared on any tax returns.

Cheers Max, your thanks is much appreciated. I've posted questions on here on may occasions, but never been able to offer much advice. For others who may be reading this I also deal with IS (income support) claims & have basic knowledge on most other benefits. If andy questions come up & I can't answer straight away I'll try and find out & post later. I'm around most nights except this weekend....... I'm going away for a well earned break!!!!
