Contracted our confusion

Hello,
I would appreciate any advice or information on the Contracted out of Serps element of my NI contributions.
I have checked my online NI record and it states I was contracted out, but I have no idea when. Also, I don't have any idea the contracted out portion of my NI is being put into a scheme anywhere.
So my questions are: How do I find out where the contracted out proportion of NI is going, if anywhere?
Is there a missing pension that it may be going into?
oh and the title should be Contracted out confusion!
Many thanks

From memory, doesnt the online pension forecast tell you which years? Also, I don't have any idea the contracted out portion of my NI is being put into a scheme anywhere.
What type of pension do you have?Is there a missing pension that it may be going into?
May be. There were two ways to contract out. Both called contracted out but one involved rebates going to a pension and the other resulted in lower NI being paid. Hence the question on what type of pension you had.
Do note, that this is historic. You cant be contracted out any more.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
