Hello ,please can someone help .We were conned into getting a time share in 2003 by Castletown promotions ( Who disappeared off the face of the planet ) .we signed the paperwork for the loan , but it was financed with first national.West have tried to claim the ppi which was included but keep getting told we can't as there is no one to claim from as Castletown don't exist any more , and first national say it wasn't them that sold the loan so they have refused us.The financial ombudsman don't know how to help us any further , so have are now left with a £10 ,000 loan to pay off for a time share that we never used or seen .absolute nightmare.

You have no-one to complain to.
The company that has liability no longer exists. You lender is not liable as they didnt sell it. It is pre-regulation. So, you don't have access to the FSCS. The FOS cant look at it as the company that sold it no longer exists and was not regulated at point of sale. Game over.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
