Where do I go now?

Now the offer has been issued and accepted and winding it's way back to Leeds, I'm unsure of where to go now (on these boards) and I'm general!
What's the process now? Just a case of sitting back and letting the lawyer do what he has to or does this need to be pushed. Naturally husband wants to move as soon as possible, (we both need him too) but he's been advised it'll take at least 4 weeks. Which I guess isn't so bad, but when will he discuss date of entry etc?

So tomorrow he can contact his lawyer and say, if like to move on X date and then his lawyer will speak to the seller (who's eager to move) and they agree and that's it? On the letter from the lift scheme it says they need at least 4 weeks notice of date of entry to ensure funds are released in time, is this generally the time frame?0

You need to make it clear to your solicitor whom you are paying what you expect, he will tell you what is possible.
Leave it to him and he will work to a timescale that suits him not you.I am a Mortgage Broker
