Virgin's Poor Service

I'm having trouble with Virgin, I've been with them for years but I have just had my 3rd TIVO box installed, firstly its was a sound issue, the sound did not keep up with the picture, so they came and fitted a new box, second the Tivo box was really slow, it could have been steam powered so I got onto them and there was a fault, an Engineer was sent out and he fitted another new box. I asked about the New V6 box and they said I could have it but I would have to pay £114.99 plus an activation fee, I thought this was ridiculous, all that money for something that I wont own. They have a deal on at the moment, the V6 box for £50 per month plus £14.99 activation fee. I cant have that deal because it's for New Customers only, This seams really unfair to me. Im terrible at haggling to be honest I get all flustered. But is so annoying, it seams loyalty counts for absolutly nothing.:mad:

I can't see any evidence of poor service from Virgin in your post. Your equipment was faulty and they've fixed it.

Now you are moaning about not being eligible for a new customer deal because you are not a new customer!

If you want to upgrade to the new box then you'll have to pay the inflated price as an "early adopter". Leave it for a few months and this price will undoubtedly come down

I doubt you'll be able to "haggle" for this decoder so soon after it's release.
