I have UU'd a Clarins Body lotion. This was a GWP and I usually don't use body lotion so probably wnba.
Received a Lacoste perfume sample and uses that as well. Bought Clarins toner today as I was out. I bought a set of cleansing milk with toner including travel size exfoliating cleanser. The whole set was £24 and the toner would cost £19 so I chose the set. Got few samples from this purchase too. I had the voucher for £5 off so bought some No 7 wipes and stocked up NYX translucent powder as I like it. It was the triple point event so got that too.ally.0 -
I'm in. Sunday is run day, with a well earned soak in the bath before bed (only recently started running - so not good at it but getting there). Hands and feet will get some attention too! Should have a couple of UUs if not TA.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries: July stash 72/0 INS/2 UU/0 TA0

I run, cycle, horse ride and hike a lot and running is by far the hardest thing ever. My advice would be to build up slowly maybe an extra lamp post or tree per run and you will just get better and better.
I went into Boots & Superdrug yesterday and didn't buy anything, I am so bored of seeing brow kits, contour and highlight products.
I am going to place an order online for 2 of the curl creams I am using, it is an American brand but there are online stockists here for it, it makes my curls look and feel awesome.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Finally here to list what I've got - although I must say, I only moved to UK ca 3 years ago, still have my place abroad, and that's got a separate stash which is being graciously ignored here. Also, as I mentioned, I have an exact Excel overview where I love highlighting lines in various colours and eventually striking off - very much my OCD
hand cream x4
perfume x2 (Versace yellow diamond is my HG)
shower gel x5 (I like having choice, all cheap stuff)
body scrub x2 (both Soap and Glory)
hair care x22 (I recently purchased several shampoo+conditioner sets which I didn't need at all)
hair styling x16 (incl dry shampoo, I love the Colab ones)
antiperspirant x5 (used to have many more, love Mitchum and Nivea)
body lotion x4
misc x6 (nail cream, polish remover, tanning drops, shaving gel)
face cleansers x17 (this includes my HG Bioderma micellar water, but most are cream/gel/balm cleansers, many unopened, have about 5-6 in use at the moment)
face masks x13 (incl some sheet masks so will be gone after one use)
face creams/serums/oils x50 (yes fifty, alongside cleansers this is my problem area. many unopened too)
facial wipes x4 (all happen to be Simple KTS wipes, but once this goes down I'll repurchase Superdrug vit E ones since I love them too)
This adds up to 150 items, not including makeup and decorative stuff. I have 75 nail polishes and loads of foundations that I like to switch between, but wear little makeup otherwise. My fave foundations at the moment are the Bare Minerals complexion rescue, Guerlain Lingerie de Peau (sp?) and La Roche-Posay BB Blur cream.
I'm in my thirties, on good income, no kids, this skincare obsession only started fairly recently...Like I said, I only came to UK a few years ago and one of the reasons I want to reduce this list is that I may be moving back to where I came from soon, and I'd hate to move half-empty pots... so when using up it's always a dilemma if I go for the most expensive / most liked / heaviest item
I'm very easily influenced by social media but also various promotions - my Boots Advantage Card point balance is worth over 200GBP :eek:0 -
Zuzi - my Boots card was at about £90 at one point and I would pay for items instead of using the points because I couldn't bear to spend them:D.
50 face creams is a lot, I probably had something similar and it has taken me about 2 years to get that number down to a more reasonable but still high level, the end is in sight for me now. Shower gel however will probably last me 5 years:eek:.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Houseplant sorry to hear about your break in. I still can't fathom why a certain class of people feel it acceptable to steal from others! Let's hope karma pays them a visit.
So 3 more UUs:-
5 L'Occitane Shea handcream full size Love this. Have a few 10ml tubes to go at and a Liz Earle handcream on the way before I decide whether to repurchase this.
6 Kind Natured Coconut shampoo This is gorgeous. Have repurchased today.
7 ASDA The Salon System cotton wool pads I like these larger pads. Have replaced them though with Superdrug own brand as they were on offer.
Got the chance today to go to a larger branch of Boots to get my shampoo. I also bought a can of VO5 mousse as I think the Toni and Guy one I'm using is at its last spurt.
I also picked up the Real Techniques core collection of brushes on clearance at £10! V impressed. Need to throw some of my brushes away.
I have 2 items that will be UUed this week definitely : Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic and a 15ml tube of Elemis PCMC that I've depotted. My night cream is getting low too but should think this will last the week. Am going to use Lush Lemony Flutter as handcream until my replacement arrives. I really don't like this stuff.
Feels like my mascara and eyeliner are getting low too.
I also hit pan today on a blush in my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. The one called O.C. Is more like a bronzer than a blush. Maybe I'll try contouring with it with my new brush.
Painted my finger nails this morning and am wearing Sally Hansen Off With Her Red.
Was going to colour my hair today but the kit requires me to have clean hair that was shampooed 24hours previously so will do it tomorrow night.
Finally, also UUed a Yankee Candle large jar called Cassis. WNBA. Was OK.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

The items that I thought might just be UU at the end of February can now join the UU list:D
3ml Pestle & Mortar Hydrate moisturiser 1/20 Love it will buy in the future
15ml Hylamide Sub-Q eyes 2/21 Have bought again
15ml NIOD MMHC 3/22 Have bought againThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
One to join the footcream list: Aldi Lacura 10 in 1 face cream pump, a dupe of the Revitalift 10 Repair Cream with SPF20.
I've had this ages and think it may have gone past its best - my skin has felt sticky all day after applying it.
I also have the real Revitalift 10 Repair Cream and will be using this up in haste - would hate to waste this. It must have been a review item a while ago. Needs using.
I haven't seen the Lacura recently - I don't think it has an advertised SPF so probably wouldn't buy it again, anyway.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Two UUs tonight:
Avon Planet Spa Thai Lotus Flower Bath soak WNBA. Very powerful scent but it's just not my type of scent. I only had a bit of this left and it was on my PP list.
Paula's Choice Resist Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser WPB. This was lovely. Very creamy and gentle. I loved using this. I might use the other sample sachet of this in the morning to see what it's like as a morning cleanse.0
