No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries - March 2017

Two necessary but sort of unnecessary purchases today:

Avene Eau Thermale Spray 150ml
Avene Eau Thermale Spray 50ml

I love this and it's the only think helping me skin at the moment. That and my La Roche Posay Hydreane moisturiser. My skin is getting a bit better though. The small one is to keep in my handbag and use whilst I'm out, the air at where I work is often quite dry, so I need it. And my big one is running out.

And one UU for the night:

The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA WPNBA. I liked this at first, but I've found a better moisturiser. It's a nice, decent moisturiser for the price (£4.90), very good science based skincare ingredients and no nasty fragrances or silicones.

Where on earth has the month gone!! Ive now been at my job for over a month (first payday today so two guesses where im off tomorrow as its my day off ).

Got lots of uus to report:

Herbal essences nourish me butter shampoo 400ml- WBA smells gorgeous! And does the job really well. My hair seems to like herbal essences products.

Hetbal essences nourish me butter conditioner 400ml- WBA this smells gorgeous and is really softening. Did a really good job on my hair.

Pantene oil replacement hair mask- WBA this was a poundworld bargain. Smells lovely and does a great job. Made my hair a lot softer.

NSPA satsuma shower gel 100ml- WBA i really like this gel. It smells great and lathers up well. Decent consistency too.

Lush miranda soap sample- WNBA not my favourite soap by lush. Dont know if it was just old but it didnt smell of much just a general soapy smell, and stained my flannel orange. It was quite hard to get a lather too but dont know again if it was just old.

Lush lifes a beach scrub powder sample- WBA and already got full size stashed. I like the scent of this and it was nice and scrubby without being too harsh. Showders arent the easiest to use but this was ok.

Sensodyne repair and protect gentle whitening toothpaste - WBA stops my teeth hurting, best toothpaste ive found (although im using lush toothy tabs while ive run out and these havent been too bad!). Pleasant taste and for me worth the extra money.

Medex minty fresh mouthwash- WBA HG although i havent seen this in asda recently but am keeping my eyes open for it. This tastes very pleasant and isnt too strong. Does the job well and a bargain at £1.

Lush intergalactic bath bomb- WBA love this one. Its minty scented and chock full of glitter (but it doesnt stick to you badly or anything like that) and the water was pretty colours! One of the best bombs by lush, i should use these more really as its lovely! I had a dreadful cold and this really helped me breathe.

Lush wash behind your ears shower gel sample-WBA think im gonna get a 250g of this tomorrow if its in stock at my store. This is different in a good way. Its a really interesting colour for a start - bright orange with glitter/lustre! And its sooo thick! It has a very pleasant sweet but floral smell that i dont quite know how to describe. Its not the strongest lush gel but its nice enough. Its very softening.

Also did a swap on facebook for a 500g rose jam (desperately wanted one ) which ill declare once it arrives. I swapped a 250g calacas and a 250g 29 high street and a 100g lord of misrule so those are outs too.

And i sent two good friends parcels which contained:

Will be ins tomorrow as need to pop into town and pick up some mascara and other essentials like sensodyne. Also most likely going to treat myself to a few bits from lush's easter range to celebrate my first payday of my new job (although most of it has gone straight into mums account for my rent... Joys of being an adult eh!!)

Thankyou for your reccomendations re. Lip colour guys! Youve all saved me some wasted pennies on lipcote going to have a look at the baby lips colours tomorrow as a lot of you have mentioned these - i also believe they do the baby lips in a crayon version now too?

VALM - i have the same thoughts about the extracts body scrubs. The body butters i find to be fantastic - thick and sink in quickly. But i agree the scrubs are nowhere near as good!

I didn't need a Lush order but it was made the other day when I was feeling down in the dumps and upset about my job and my social life. I'm going to the shopping centre with the nearest Lush shop to me, so I'm going to see if there's any from the Easter range I want. I doubt it, it all seems a bit lacklustre this year

I feel exactly the same! Last years range was so much better. Im so disappointed that ultraviolet bubble bar and bouncy bunny jelly and fluffy egg bombs havent come back. I feel the regular line bombs they are selling in an egg shape are a huge disappintment as you might as well just use the regular line bombs. I dont get what the point is. But im loving pink custard and wash behind your ears and the new bubble bars etc. Your mother should know is so pretty! And sunrise soap is amazing, it smells gorgeous!

I know. When they are all UU I think I'll return to using Soap and Glory Sugar Crush for my body. I love LUSH Cup o Coffee but it's too expensive to keep repurchasing regularly. Like using it on my face though.

1 UU, Living Proof Root Spray. WMBA, I liked this, but I think I possibly preferred the mousse.

I have a little flurry of UUs this morning:

Superdrug Revitalise Shower Gel 250ml WMBA. This was nice and refreshing. A nice scent to start the day off with.

Tigi Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo 750ml WDBA. This might be becoming my HG shampoo. It has helped my hair so much. Nice scent as well.

Tigi Bed Head Dumb Blonde Conditioner 750ml WDBA. Same as above. The only problem I have with it is the packaging, though I might just get the smaller sizes next time if I can't find a good deal on the duo when I'm near the end of these ones.

I've got a shower gel sample to use, so I'll use that tomorrow, and I'll starting using my backup of the Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner tomorrow as well.

My skin is also starting to feel a bit better, I've just got to keep moisturising the sore patch throughout the day.
