"Debt Assigned to CAIS Member"

Looking through my Experian report, I saw one debt is showing as Settled and then Assigned to CAIS Member. I've looked through every account on my Experian report, plus Clear Score and Noddle and can't find any debt at all recorded that could be with a CAIS member.
If a CAIS member has bought a debt, shouldn't they then record that on Experian etc? Everything showing on my credit report is something I can identify and there's nothing that could be this debt on there.

Thanks - had seen that but unless I'm missing something (very likely) it doesn't say whether they're supposed to record this assignment on Experian?0

Sometimes debts are sold, and the new owner "sits" on them for a while, they may choose to chase them, they may not, if/when they do start collection activity, they will report it on your credit file.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
