Buying a house on my own

Hi , partner and I are splitting up we have a mortgage together. If we sell house and split 50/50. Is it possible for me to buy and a house on 13k a year? With a possible 15k deposit after debts are cleared etc.
Would it get a mortgage on my earnings and would I be looking at a house price of 90k ? Any advice greatly appreciated. Don't really want to go into rented accommodation

I think you would struggle to get a Mortgage of that amount. Something closer to £55k plus your deposit on top would be closer I think.

I would doubt you'd get a mortgage at all, basic living expenses would take most of that. See a mortgage broker.
  • Are you working full time? If you are over 25 and on National Living Wage you should be on minimum of £14k. I'd try and increase your income wherever possible.
