apologies for silly question but with HTB could I put up 12.5% deposit and get 12.5% through HTB or have I got it all wrong?

You can put more than the 5% deposit down - I did when I bought my flat using HTB 2 years ago. I put 14% down.
I also only needed to take 10% HTB loan out to be able to afford a mortgage on the property, not the full 20%.
But I'm not sure what increments you can go to, if that makes sense. E.g. You can take out 10 or 20% HTB loan but not sure if you can go inbetween.0 -
on thanks for fetting back, hopefully someone else on here can clarify0

Loan options, 10% to 20% in 1% increments.
Min deposit 5% and max deposit 55% with 20% equity loan, as minimum mortgage is 25%.I am a mortgage broker.
