I bought a case of 12 bottles of wine at Christmas for around £50 because I had a £60 voucher. The condition of this offer was that I get in the queue to become an Angel. The wine has all been good quality, better than the majority of the supermarket wine I have bought.
However, I am now an Angel and pay £20 per month into my account. This is refundable and they have sent me a few good offers. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience of them and whether it is worthwhile and economical to buy from them. I have a couple of bottles of white left but would like to buy some red. Not sure.

I was a member for a few years as an Angel but on losing my job I quit.
I'd consider it again, but I don't think I could go back to being an angel now anyway.
I found that like you say most of the bottles were better than the supermarket ones, and I wouldn't say I had any that were really bad. What I did was try a variety and then stuck with ones I liked.
At Angel prices I thought a lot of them were good value but I don't know if I'd pay top whack.
For reds I liked Carlos Rodriguez's and always used to put a few of his in my basket“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
