The supermarket 5p round up

I searched to see if this has already been discussed - point me in the right direction if it has!
Walking around the aisles at Sainsbury's yesterday I noticed that the prices for all products are now in increments of 5p. Previously I'd only noticed the 5p thing in the context of Sainsbury's putting the prices of products I buy up in jumps of 5p, 10p or 20p etc. Price increases and shrinkflation has already been discussed on other threads. (PS - I accept that prices go up as well as down, but as a customer I have a right to notice this and shop where I get the best deal!)
So I looked on the Tesco website and it seems that the majority of Tesco own-brand and branded products are also rounded to 5p. I reckon this applied to about 95% of products.
In comparison, ASDA still has a good mix of prices not rounded to 5p.
Has anyone else noticed this?
