... or is this place now to bore others with pet projects your family can't stomach hearing you bang on about ?

On a side note apparently Wood Green might be getting a 3.5 billion investment.

I'm starting to sell up, so I care, but not to the point where I want to go on and on about prices, because no matter what I say, the market will do what it is going to do anyway. I'll settle for stagnation over the next few years, anything above that will be a bonus. Cue Crashy appearing on the thread and saying that I have waited too long to sell (if only I had rented an Edinburgh bedsit, I could avoided being lumbered with all this equity).

I would if prices fell. Then I might consider moving. While they remain high I prefer doing other things with my money.

I could go on about house prices, but I don't live or have a house in London, which completely invalidates my point of view (apparently) :D

185,000 Canadian dollars used to buy you a pretty nice kit house. There...that's a price and house in the same sentence. What does one think? :)

Taking about house prices is so 2010.
  • So if we're not talking about house prices anymore can you tell me how easy it is these days to remortgage to a new lender. Mortgage details remaining exactly the same just want to a move to an even lower rate. No application, arrangement or valuation fee with product I've sourced. Do I need to do anything i.e legal side conveyancer?

I keep seeing this ad on the tube platforms and online. Well, strictly speaking I keep getting sent it by Tesco mobile, doing that thing where they knock £3 off your bill every month if you consent to them bombarding you with ads all day. Really not worth the hassle unless you're really watching every penny, I do it only as a kind of penance to punish myself for smashing up my last (utterly useless cheapo Chinese) handset in a temper tantrum.

Funny enough there is a wood In Wood Green which is closed to the public but which they will open up like the parkland walk in north londonsoon with their new development plans. Complete with spotted woodpeckers.

But yeah Wood Green certainly isn't about the woods. We do have a wooded brand spanking new 'Go Ape' course being built in Ally Pally park though.

No many fox's either but we do have a foxtons, which opened yesterday. :)

Shame about the woodpeckers, I hope that they get better soon, but I'm surprised about the lack of foxes, I think you probably just aren't seeing them, when I lived in Battersea I used to see quite a few on the odd occasion when I was around in the middle of the night.

I really miss the insane rantings of brit1234 predicting 50% crashes by Christmas or the sneering condescension of CarolT.

Both have gone very quiet in recent times.

I guess they have given up / grown a pair and finally bought
