Loan - Charges reclaim?

Hi,

I have a loan with welcome finance. Over the past two years, they have applied charges to my account for phonecalls, and letters they have sent, or if i have made a late payment, or a missed payment.

Can i reclaim these charges in the same way as i can reclaim bank and credit card charges?
Cheers Nick

It is possible to claim such fees and charges back but it is not like the bank charge issue. There needs to be other issues on the account where redress is due. Lenders get it wrong over and over.
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.
  • Hi,

Im with Welcome Finanace (judging by the coments on this forum, i wish i wasnt!) I have requested a list of all fees and charges applied to my personal account.

Sumary - i took out a £1500 loan in Oct 2004. i now owe them £2400!! I have noticed that on thier list of charges, there is a charge called interest posting. What does this mean?
    Cheers Nick
