Advice on applying morgage

Hello
Advice please.
I hope to buy my housing association house ...valued at 104,000 abd offered to me for 95,000. Currently have £11000 in savings. Oh and the big problem I have is defaults I have two over 3 years old from September and November 2011 and hubby for August 2013. We were on a dmp and for some reason argos didn't default his account with them until 2013. Anyway defaults more than 3 years ago. Went to a morgage advisor who advise it's difficult in terms of products because right to buy and poor credit. He managed get us an offer with halifax but they want 15% deposit. Which we haven't got and were on borrowed time as housing association given us 8 weeks. So I've applied to nationwide as I have my account and my save to buy account with them. They've deferred to the underwriters and requested more information which I've sent to them today. So if this gets declined, has anyone got any advice on where to go ?. Also a friend has offered to lend money but I didn't want to go down this route xx any advice on morgage lenders who would accept lower deposit

    Speak to another broker?
There may be other lenders who will consider it.
