I'm just about to start investigating to see i) if I actually paid PPI and ii) if I can claim it back.
This relates to an endowment mortgage and a repayment mortgage and various policies that emerged from them (the insurance companies kept changing/being taken over).

As the mortgages - now paid off - were taken out in 1985 and 1995 respectively, I'm wondering if I stand a hope in hell's chance of making any successful claims. If anyone has any useful advice on that it would be much appreciated.

(I don't seem to able to use the Resolver feature as the mortgage companies - Norwich & Peterborough and Abbey...! - aren't on the drop-down list.)

2 - Who sold it to you? (ie. mortgage adviser or broker)
3 - What are your reasons for complaint?

MPPI has a lower success rate on complaints. The majority are rejected as it is a different style of product to loan and credit card PPI and covers a major debt that is sensible to have covered. MPPI is still retailed today.
