Best place to sell an eternity ring?

Where is the best place to sell a diamond eternity ring? I know that some jewellers would probably buy, but would they be the best place? I presume places that buy gold wouldn't buy it as there are stones in the ring?

I want to try and get the best price obviously. It's a beautiful ring but for obvious reasons I no longer want it and I could really do with the money now.

Many thanks in advance.

  • Do you have a local auction house? I sold some jewellery through one and got more than I was offered elsewhere, even after commission had been deducted.

Unfortunately not Robinette, not as far as I know anyway. I will keep an eye out in the local papers.

Other than that, do you think a jewellers is my only option?

Local selling site on face book or ebay.
I sold to a local jeweller in my home town, he said it wasnt worth a lot, he wolnt have a lot of Mark up. He gave me £125 for it. I saw it in his window 2 weeks later for £350.
