  • OP - you've done the right thing by posting on here (welcome by the way) so you must have realised that you need help. Whatever decisions you made in the past are now irrelevant and you must look forward. No looking for excuses as to why you got into this position but as someone has posted, nothing is final, nothing is definite and you can fix this!
    Get the SOA up (you may need to cancel the holiday) but have you got the willpower to attack this debt?
    I'm sure your parents would be proud to know that you are owning up to your debts and want to do something about it.
