Moving in and bad credit

Hi
I have a number of defaults registered from early 2016 and am on a TPP with Stepchange.
My boyfriend is in the process of moving in with me. I have been totally transparent about my debts and he is going to help me pay them off by paying me rent - an agreement that suits both of us. This has also meant that I no longer have to sell my house which I'm pleased about.
My question is.... we will not have any joint accounts at all due to my bad credit (his is V good), his post and bank accounts will be registered at our house and he will be on the electoral roll and paying council tax here.
Will any of that effect his credit file? I am very keen to make sure it doesn't and want to do everything possible to ensure my '!!!!-ups' do not jeopardise his credit worthiness

Thanks
